The Brewers are in discussions with utility infielder Craig Counsell about a potential return to Milwaukee, general manager Doug Melvin said Tuesday night. “Nothing’s official yet,” Melvin said. “We’re just continuing to negotiate.” Counsell, who attended high school in Whitefish Bay, played for the Brewers in 2004.
