Left-hander Chris Capuano and the Milwaukee Brewers agreed to a $3.25 million, one-year contract Wednesday, avoiding salary arbitration. Capuano made the NL All-Star team last season but then had a poor second half, winning only one more game and finishing 11-12 with a 4.03 ERA in 34 starts. He asked for $3.7 million in arbitration Tuesday and the Brewers offered $2.8 million.
