The Washington Nationals put right-handed starter Jerome Williams on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained left ankle and activated left-handed reliever Ray King off the DL before Sunday’s game against the New York Mets. Williams hurt his ankle while swinging during an at-bat in the sixth inning of Washington’s 6-2 loss to New York in 12 innings Saturday night.
