The San Diego Padres had two chances to wrap up the NL wild card and couldn’t get it done. Now, they may have to use ace Jake Peavy in a play-in game Monday. The Padres couldn’t overcome a shaky start by Brett Tomko and lost 11-6 to Milwaukee on Sunday, opening the door for the Colorado Rockies to move into a tie for the wild card.
